ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Rear Adm. James C. Olson, Commander 17th Coast Guard District, gives the opening remarks as the keynote speaker today at the 2005 Pacific States/British Columbia Oil Spill Task Force Annual Meeting here. Representatives from state and federal agencies along the Western seaboard were in attendance. The group will discuss Alaska initiatives as west coast models, non-tank vessel response issues and take public comment and task force member's response before adopting a 2005-2006 annual work-plan.
