Coast Guard, Good Samaritan respond to vessel fire

SITKA, Alaska - A crewmember from the Good Samaritan vessel Steadfast attempts to extinguish a fire aboard the motor vessel David V near St. Mary's Point Thursday afternoon. The Good Samaritan crewmen safetly recovered the two David V crewmen from thier life raft. A Coast Guard Station Juneau rescue boat crew and an Air Station Sitka Jayhawk helicopter crew also responded to the vessel fire.
