Coast Guard Conducts Interagency Law Enforcement Exercise

(April 22, 2008) TAHOE CITY, Calif. - The Coast Guard, working with the Washoe County Sheriff Department and the Coast Guard Auxiliary, conducted a law enforcement training exercise on Lake Tahoe, Tuesday. The passenger vessel "Dixie II" served as a training platform for the Coast Guard's Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST) 91105 from San Francisco to practice personnel deployment and boarding tactics from 23-foot Over the Horizon boats. The exercise also involved a 25-foot response boat from Coast Guard Station Lake Tahoe, and a safety boat provided by the Washoe County Sheriff Department. (Coast Guard photo by Lt.j.g.
